Respect is at the heart of our school.

Extra Curricular Activities

In the field of sport there are successful sports teams, which regularly compete against other local schools and county events. Our children in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 take part in our swimming programme at Kent College Swimming Pool.

Children participate in a special Christmas production performed by the infants, a Summer Show by the Year 6 children and an annual Music Concert. The school also invites drama and music groups into school during the year to perform to the children.

Charitable events are a feature of the school year and a variety of charities are well-supported with children and staff initiating and taking part in many funds.

Clubs & Music Lessons

There are a variety of lunchtime/after-school clubs and music lessons on offer to children of all ages.

These activities are either run by school staff members or by external companies.

If your child would like to join any of the Pembury School clubs please email the teacher running the club giving your child’s name, class and the name of the club they wish to join.

External club enrolments should be made directly with the club organiser.

Music lessons: we are currently visited by a variety of music teachers, offering guitar, ukelele, piano, cornet, trumpet, recorder, violin, flute and mini-clarinet/clarinet lessons that take place during the school day. Please ask at the school office for more details if you are interested in lessons for your child.

Wraparound Care

DDivine Training run a full wraparound care service for all students at Pembury Primary School. The team offer a safe and inclusive environment for your child, providing structured activities for them to continue to learn once the school day has finished.

The breakfast club runs from 7:30am-8:40am every day in term time, where students will have access to a range of food (listed on our booking link). During this time, they will also take part in some low impact exercise, team building games and some arts and crafts.

Once the school day finishes at 3:25pm, you will have the option to book your child in for 30-minute slots at their after-school care. This will mean students taking part in other after school clubs will only be charged from 4:30-5pm as opposed to the cost of a full hour. The menu for this will be provided alongside the day-to-day plan for the whole term.
